Parent Teacher and Friends Association (PTFA)

We are an active PTFA, organising School Discos, Chocolate Bingo, the Summer Fair, and other events throughout the year, where permitted under COVID-19 guidance!

Last year was quite different due to COVID-19, however we still managed to fundraise £2100 for the school.

The school has asked the PTFA to help raise funds for a new Octagonal shelter with picket sides, seating and decking. The School would be looking to have it where the trim trail is currently located on the school field, and understand that this could take a while to raise the necessary funds.

The school believe that this project would benefit all of the children at Donisthorpe Primary School. It will be large enough to accommodate a whole class at a time, providing a restful and peaceful location for the children. It would also act as additional shade in the height of the summer for the children and a rain shelter for the colder months.

Forth coming events:
9th October- Cake stall at Apple Day in the Village
31st October- Halloween Dress up day at school
November- Bags2Schools Clothing Collection
9th December- Christmas Disco

They are joined by Wendy Frary, Ruth Wileman,  Christine Becks and Katie Heelas, but please remember that by being a parent at Donisthorpe Primary School you are automatically a member of the PTFA!
