School Dinners- Relish!

All hot school meals are freshly prepared and cooked on site in our school kitchen. We are committed to provide quality, fresh ingredients that we cook from scratch to produce our daily menus.  Wherever possible, we use seasonal produce and the daily food offer allows our children to choose from a wide variety of freshly prepared main meals and desserts. Our kitchen is managed by a specialist catering company called Relish, who have vast experience in school catering and help ensure we deliver on our commitments to healthy school meals.

A variety of meals are offered on a three-week rolling programme. To access the current menu, please click on the link on the right.

Children can select what they want at registration, and this information is sent straight to our Kitchen. To ensure that the children receive the meal that they have ordered, they need to give their name to the kitchen staff and they will be able to bring their meal choice up on screen at the serving counter.

The school is able to cater for a variety of dietary requirements. If your child has a food allergy or intolerance, and cannot eat a food for religious or cultural reasons, please speak with the school office. A menu will then be designed for your child and entered into the system, and when your child chooses their lunch, you can be reassured it will take into account all their dietary requirements.

All pupils in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are eligible for Universal Free School Meals. When children reach year 3, meals will need to be paid for unless you think they may be eligible for free school meals. If you believe your child is eligible for Free School Meals, please contact Leicestershire County Council on 0116 305 7093. We advise you do this when they start school in EYFS. For further help with this please visit the Leicestershire County Council Free School Meals Page
