Mission Statement
At Donisthorpe Primary School we will provide an educational environment that ensures our children gain the knowledge, skills and experiences to know that with hard work, perseverance, and by embracing any challenges they experience along the way, anything is possible and within their power to achieve.

Our Vision and Ethos
Donisthorpe Primary School will support both academic achievement and personal development, preparing our children well for the next stage of their education and beyond.
We strive to provide an engaging, relevant and broad education, which equips our children with the knowledge, skills and personal qualities necessary to lead a fulfilling and rewarding life.
We will enrich the children’s school life with a range of high-quality experiences and extra-curricular activities, aimed at widening children’s life experiences and developing their cultural capital.
We aim for our children to become:
· Responsible Citizens who aim to inspire others and make a positive contribution to society
· Successful Learners who enjoy learning, are curious and have developed the ability to learn which enables them to make progress and achieve
· Resilient Individuals who are able to live safe, healthy and fulfilling lives and are able to adapt successfully in a rapidly changing world
· Self-confident children who know who they are as an authentically unique individual, recognising differences in themselves and others as a strength to be celebrated
